This week we had our last two exchanges of the transfer, first I was with Sister Burk up in Eatontown, and then with Hermana Pace here in the Manchester area. I had heard so much about Eatontown from having so many former companions serve there and it was fun to get to experience it for myself! Sister Burk is pretty awesome, she even convinced me to go running with her in the morning and she told me a detailed synopsis of the book "Treasure Island" to distract me as we jogged! Haha I don't hate jogging quite enough to require that, but it was very impressive!
> On my exchange with Hermana Pace we saw a definite miracle! We were able to get back in touch with a former investigator who had been progressing and then got slammed with work and didn't have time to meet with us or go to church. Her name is Pam and it turns out she just got fired from her job and so now she has time to start learning again! We went over the restoration with her again and it was kind of like she was hearing it for the first time, but she was very excited about it all! She just kept saying "wow", "wow" haha! Then she told us about the last lesson she had had with the Sisters when they told her she wasn't allowed to drink alcohol or eat meat...wait what? Haha somehow she had been under the impression that we are required to be vegan! And she tried it for a few weeks! Then she ended up getting pretty sick because of it and started eating meat again, but she did stop drinking alcohol! And she was so happy to learn that she is allowed to eat meat! So obviously she is willing to do hard things that she doesn't completely understand! She came to church yesterday and really enjoyed it!
> So all in all, life is good and we are seeing miracles! It is the last week of the transfer and I have faith that great things will happen!
