Saturday we got hit pretty hard by a snow storm! In like 24 hours we
got over two feet of snow! We were told not to go out unless we have
really good snow gear, and sister Gattud does not! It would have been
pretty intense if we had to be out in it, but we were nice and cozy
inside! Church got canceled on Sunday because even though the storm
had passed the roads were still pretty bad. I have a fair amount of
faith in my snow driving skills but we weren't allowed to drive our
cars that day either.
We had a couple really cool lessons with less active members this
week. We were able to meet a lady named Sister Heath and that we
haven't been able to see her in a while, and we were able to help her
make some breakthroughs in understanding her relationship with
Heavenly Father. We also had a powerful lesson with another less
active couple named the Stewart's where we were able to get them
really immersed in the scriptures and finding connections to their
lives. One of my favorite things on the mission has been being able to
work with less actives and help them rediscover the joy they once
found in living the gospel.
This is the last week before sister Gattud goes back to temple square,
and President Taggart hinted to her that we might get doubled out
so...not really sure how I would feel about that. I guess it depends
on where they would send me, but I would be glad to stay here. So many
good folks and we have been able to see really good progress with a
lot of people! We shall see what happens!
Love yous!

Sister Gattud is OBSESSED with fat cats because there is no such thing
in the Philipinnes! She thinks they look like Garfield
