Thanksgiving was great! We had a Turkey bowl in the morning with the south half of the mission and the weather was beautiful! We were originally playing co-ed, but I don't really enjoy never touching the ball so I convinced all the sisters to ditch the elders and start a game of our own! It was a blast! I was ridiculously sore for the next 2 days and I'm sure Sister Gattud was sick of my moaning and groaning, but it was totally worth it!
That evening we had a wonderful dinner with a couple in the ward. It was a far more humble setting than I am used to, paper plates and all, but that just made it all the more meaningful. We truly have so much to be grateful for.
We had an experience this week that I won't go into too much other than to say that it reminded me that Satan is real and has as much power as we give him. It was an experience that brought Ephesians 6:12 to mind. But the most important thing I learned from that experience is that God is all powerful, light will always triumph over darkness. We know what the final result of this contest is going to look like, it is just a matter of choosing to be fully on His team. It is worth doing what ever it takes to be worthy to have the Holy Ghost as our constant companion.
Thank you all for you love and support, I was really feeling the love this week and I appreciate it so much!
